Drastic CDPAP Restructuring Moving Forward as Well
Perhaps frustrated by the difficulties of negotiating expensive healthcare priorities through the political process of the State Legislature, the State Department of Health (with the backing of the Governor’s office) has proposed to amend New York State law in significant ways related to LHCSA, FI, and MLTC common ownership, and to restructure the CDPAP in ways that would reduce the number of providers and patients receiving services in that program.
