The New York State Budget, Health and Mental Hygiene Bill (the “HMH Bill”), has been finalized. As of the time of this alert’s publication, the actual text of the HMH Bill had not been issued, however, we understand that the HMH Bill will largely contain the same CDPAP RFO language as what we had reported two days ago, here https://conta.cc/3fCrxWy. The only major difference is that, whereas the Executive had proposed adding 5 additional fiscal intermediaries, the final HMH Bill will allow the Commissioner to add 2 additional fiscal intermediaries. Otherwise, the CDPAP RFO language in the HMH Bill will be the same as the language that we had reported on.
Once the HMH Bill has been printed, we will confirm that this is indeed the language in the HMH Bill, and that there were no last-minute changes. In the meantime, if you have any questions regarding the CDPAP RFO, please let us know.
